The advanced copies are on their way to me, so let the shameless request for reviews of Graffiti Grrlz: Performing Feminism in the Hip Hop Diaspora begin!
Do you want a free copy of my book? The best way to get one is to write a review!
Help me promote the book in academic, activist, and Hip Hop/graffiti writing circles!
@NYUPress will send hard copies to academic journals who will then pass them on to reviewers, but there is no reason to wait! Write the review editor for your favorite journal and ask them to let you review the book. If you are not an academic, but have a relationship with feminist or graffiti websites/organizations/publications that include book reviews or author interviews, NYU will send you a free PDF version of the book for that. Academics should contact journal book review editors (typically listed on the journal’s website) and anyone wanting to review for spaces beyond academic journals should message me and I’ll put you in touch with the right folks at NYU Press.
